A Life Dedicated to God and Nation

With gratitude for a life dedicated to the service of God and humanity, the Board of Directors of Managing Business For Christ (MBFC) announces the passing of our revered founder, Dr. Christopher Kolade, CON, who was called to glory on the 8th of October, 2025. He was a statesman, a devout Christian, and a beacon of ethical leadership whose legacy is woven into the very fabric of our organization and the nation he served so faithfully.

A Life of Illustrious Service

Dr. Kolade’s life was a testament to the principle of integrity and godly service in the public sphere. Before establishing MBFC, he excelled across various sectors, holding key positions such as:

  • Director General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Authority
  • Managing Director of Cadbury Nigeria Plc
  • Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom

His vast experience was matched only by his unwavering commitment to good governance, transparency, anti-corruption, and the vital necessity of due process. He was a statesman whose voice commanded respect and echoed the values of upright leadership well beyond the shores of Africa.

The Foundation of MBFC

Dr. Kolade founded MBFC with a singular, divine purpose: to encourage organizations to conduct business in ways that glorify God. He was a passionate advocate for business ethics and the belief that godly behavior is not merely compatible with, but essential for, driving sustainable profitability. Through MBFC, he instilled in countless business leaders the profound truth that faith and high ethical standards are inseparable in the marketplace.

His passing is an incalculable loss to his family, the Christian community, the nation of Nigeria, and all who benefited from his wisdom, mentorship, and example.

Honouring His Legacy

The Board, Management, and entire community of MBFC commit to honouring Dr. Kolade's memory by steadfastly upholding the mission he championed. We will continue to promote the values of integrity, faith, and ethical excellence in business that he so powerfully embodied.

Further announcements regarding funeral arrangements and memorial services will be communicated in due course. We ask for your prayers for his family during this time.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Signed,

The Board of Directors
